Sunday, June 17, 2007

A mass demonstration took place in Jerusalem, on Bar Ilan Street.

Thirty five thousand people gathered, to cry out against the "Pro-perversion Parade" and to demonstrate against the government officials of the city of Jerusalem, for supporting a rebellion against the Almighty.

The demonstrators were peaceful and the protest began peacefully and orderly.

According to Israeli television Channel 2, during the demonstration, two undercover policemen, dressed as Orthodox Yeshiva students, mingled with the demonstrators and began throwing rocks at the police. Their goal was the justification for the police to attack the demonstrators and to launch a confrontation with the special force police, known as "Yassam". Unfortunately that is exactly what happened, the police fell upon the demonstrators and mercilessly beat them including amongst them, elderly men, women and children.

Huge water tankers were brought in
Hundreds of people have demonstrated in the streets of Meah Shearim. The Special Forces called "Yassam" arrived and attacked the crowd, injuring many of the participants. Twenty two people have been arrested. Huge water tankers with blue colored water shot water into homes of innocent people, breaking their windows and filling their homes with water. This caused a tremendous amount of damage. The water filled the beds of infants and little children of two and three years of age, with blue water. The electric wiring of the homes were permanently damaged, priceless items and manuscripts, holy books and electronic equipments etc., were ruined.

Thursday, June 21, 2007 (the day of the Parade)

Tens of thousands of people opposing the parade, demonstrated around the entire city of Jerusalem.  At the end of the day, more than one hundred people have been arrested, for praying specific prayers for the cessation of this abomination and for peacefully crying out in pain, for the desecration of the holiness of Jerusalem.
